00:15: thank you for joining us on this onboarding video on the steps that you must take
00:19: before
00:20: you can start adding referrals and adding patients into your new HospiceWorks account.
00:24: account.
00:25: Now the first thing that you're going to need to do is add new users. So in order to
00:28: do that, you're going to go to the administration tab up above
00:33: and you're going to select users.
00:35: In this new user area, to add new users, you're simply going to click on new
00:38: invitation.
00:40: In the new invitation tab, you are going to complete their information and select
00:44: a role.
00:48: Now one thing I want to point out that is very important,
00:51: the registration process for users does not include adding physicians, medical
00:56: directors, or nurse practitioners.
00:58: Those are added in step two.
01:04: The registration process for a new user is a two-step process.
01:07: You are going to complete their invitation.
01:11: They're going to receive an email.
01:13: In the email, they will have the requirement to complete the registration process.
01:17: So they will complete it.
01:21: They will enter their name, contact details, phone numbers, and addresses.
01:27: All of that will be done by the new user.
01:32: And then once they complete that,
01:35: you're going to receive a confirmation email to approve their new user and to make
01:39: changes if you need to, to their new user profile.
01:44: Your company may have the requirement to have multiple roles for a user.
01:56: You can select an additional role, the user can have multiple roles, and there are
02:00: many situations where this is needed.
02:06: So now step two:
02:08: before you can start adding patients, you need to add your care providers.
02:12: So to add care providers, go to the administration tab and click on care providers.
02:18: In care providers, you will find facilities and physicians.
02:22: So this is where we're going to add our medical director, our hospice physicians,
02:26: nurse practitioner.
02:28: You're going to create and add them.
02:30: In this process, there's also the ability to set them up as a user.
02:34: You are adding them as a care provider in the system,
02:37: you also can also start the new user registration process that's managed in this
02:42: area.
02:42: So this is where you must add them.
02:48: Their new user is added from care providers.
02:51: You can adding a referral partners, pharmacy, which is very important.
02:56: You must add them before you start adding patients and referrals.
03:02: The next two are DME
03:04: and then funeral.
03:06: And that's it.
03:07: Once you complete these initial steps,
03:11: Then you have enough in your system to start adding referrals and to start going
03:15: through the admission process for your new patients.
